The project of planning and surveying the territory of the scientific and technological center in Surgut was carried out by the West Siberian Research and Design Institute at the request of the Skolkovo Technopark within the framework of the agreement concluded between the technopark and the Ugra Scientific and Technological Development Fund for the provision of services for the development of organizational, legal, financial, economic and architectural planning models of the STC.

Let us remind you that the architectural and planning model and technical part of the STC, based on which the layout and land surveying of the territory are designed, was developed by the French architectural bureau Valod & Pistre.

Initially, based on the international experience of implementing similar infrastructure projects that create essentially innovative areas of existing cities with existing buildings, the architectural and planning concept of the Center prudently includes modern technological solutions and approaches to territorial planning that are new for Surgut: from the rational location of objects according to their functional purpose to carefully thought-out logistics and pedestrian and transport organization.

All the solutions reflected in the project are primarily aimed at creating a multifunctional environment for the research and development activities of key STC facilities-the technopark and the university, as well as ensuring the accessibility of the Center's facilities for residents and guests of Surgut, comfort and safety of their stay on the territory.

The document is subject to consideration on 02.11.2020 at a public hearing, as a result of which the approved project of planning and surveying the territory of the STC will become a fundamental document for the transition to the design stage of buildings and the entire engineering infrastructure.
