New approaches to genetic diagnosis, treatment and prevention of frequent hereditary diseases in ugra. examination of applications for scientific project competitions

4 applications from institutes of the Russian Academy of Sciences, universities, and research institutes of the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation were submitted for participation in the competition of scientific projects.

In accordance with the regulations of the Fund for Scientific and Technological Development of Ugra on granting grants for scientific, scientific and technical and innovative projects, a competition commission consisting of 7 specialists of the Fund and an expert group of 8 representatives of science was created for technical and substantive examination of the received applications.

The selection of experts for the expert group was based on the following criteria:

• availability of a doctor or candidate of science degree in medical sciences and / or biological sciences, or a foreign academic degree comparable to the specified academic degrees;
• availability in the RSCI of publications (such as article and review) on the subject of a scientific project in peer-reviewed Russian and foreign scientific publications indexed in the "Network of Science" databases (Web of Science Core Collection) or" Scopus", published in the period from January 1, 2017 to the current date;
• the value of the scientific citation index in the RSCI at the moment is at least 10.

The Competition Commission conducted a technical examination of the received applications, which determined the compliance of applications with the requirements of the tender documentation.

At the moment, the expert group is finalizing the evaluation of applications, and the results of the competitive selection process will be announced in early March.
